FIRMWARE UPDATA PROCEDURES

4-4. EXECUTION OF UPDATE

1) Insert USB flash drive to USB connector of monitor.

If USB flash drive is recognized, it will be displayed as follows.

* TPC1/TPC2 is displayed only on PN-K322B.

2)Check the contents. If no problem, Press [ENTER] button or

wait for the timeout for 30 seconds.

Press [RETURN] button or disconnect USB flash drive in order to

cancel.

3)The following messages will be displayed, if Enter is pushed or it

waits till the timeout.

4) Wait until the following completion message is

displayed.Display may be rebooted several times during this

process.

4-5. IF UPDATE FAILS

(1) Turn OFF/ON the main power switch with USB flash drive

being inserted to the terminal.

(2) Just leave it.

(3) When the update is completed, the display will automatically

be turned OFF/ON. If the screen is not displayed during the

update, you can check if the data is read or not by seeing the

access lamp of USB flash.

4) If the update using USB flash cannot be performed, please

update with RS232C.

Be sure to update the sub firmware at first. Then, update the

main firmware.

Carry out the update of the sub firmware by following the normal

update procedure. On the other hand, carry out the update of

the main firmware by selecting the [BATCH2] button.

4-6. NOTES

- Do not store any files or folders other than this update data in

USB flash drive you use.

- USB memory with security feature cannot be used.

- If the filename is changed, the update will not be executed.

- If the version after rewriting is the same, the update will not start.

- Do not turn OFF the power or touch/remove USB flash drive

during the update.
