CARE AND MAINTENANCE
MIST TRAY
The frequency of maintenance (descaling) will depend on the hardness of the water that
you use; the harder the water the more often descaling will be necessary.
Remove the Tank and MIST
Tray.

Wash inside the tray with water
to remove impurities.
• Do not remove the
float (Styrofoam).
• Clean difficult-to-
reach parts with a
cotton-tipped swab
or tooth brush.
Care Cycle
1 month
• The Tank is removed first, and the tray
is removed.
• Use both hands to pull out the MIST
Tray to avoid spilling of water.
Remove the Tank and MIST
Filter from the MIST Tray and
drain the water by tilting the
MIST Tray slowly.

Dilute as indicated
on the detergent
container.

Float
When Float comes off, please insert the
tabs of the Float into the holes of Mist Tray
as shown in the right diagram.
When Water Deposits are Difficult to Remove
• Be sure that no gaps are left between the
tray and the main unit when you load the
tray. The unit may not operate if the tray is
not securely fitted.
• Use only designated alkaline and acidic
cleansers. Using non-designated cleansers
can cause deformation, tarnishing,
cracking (water leakage).
Insert the float below
this protrusion.
Insert the tab on the
other side of the float
into the hole.
Insert the tab of the
float into the hole.
Fill MIST tray with warm water,
add a mild kitchen detergent
and stir.
Clean difficult-to-
reach parts with a
cotton swab or
tooth brush.
Rinse the MIST tray with water.
•Change the water and repeat this
procedure 2-3 times.
• Use clean water each time.
• Inadequate rinsing may
cause the detergent
odour or changes
in the shape/ colour
of the main unit.
