: Immediately start download of the update file,

Restart the handset

After preparations for update are complete, the handset 
restarts automatically.

 

* The confirmation screen is displayed just before restarting. 

When you stop restarting, touch the cancel button within a 
set length of time.

Notify you of finished update

When the update is finished, [Software update completed] 
appears in the status bar.

 

z

In the case that the update type is the upgrade of Android 
OS, select [Software update completed] to display the 
website of the latest functions.

 

z

In the case that the update type is upgrade of Android OS, 
check the update of user-installed apps when the update is 
finished. If you do not update an app which needs to be 
updated, the app's operations may become unstable or 
functions may not work normally.

When the update is finished, you cannot downgrade the software 
to the previous one.

 

z

During updating software, the information unique to the handset 
(model, serial number, etc.) is sent to the DOCOMO software 
update server. Sent information is only used for software update.

 

z

End all apps before updating software.

 

z

Even during updating software, you can use each function.

 

z

After updating software, some settings may be reset. Re-enter 
the information or re-specify the settings.

 

z

When PIN code is set, the PIN code entry screen appears during 
restart after rewriting and you are required to enter PIN code.

 

z

If software update fails and all operations become unavailable, 
contact a repair counter that DOCOMO specifies.

 

z

You cannot update software in the following cases. Solve these 
phenomenon and try it again.
