USE
Switching On/Off
Switching on: taking hold of the handle, pull up the On/Off Switch (4) on the underside of the handle
and, with your other hand, push on the Front Handle Switch (3) at he same time.
Switching off: Release either of the switches (3) or (4).
The blade brake makes the blades stop almost immediately, within one second. The flash in the area
of the upper ventilation slots is normal and does no harm to your or the power tool.
Cutting Hedges:
Before you start your work, select branches with a
diameter bigger than 16mm and cut them off with
pruning shears.
●
Cutting corresponding to the natural growth of
plants results in optimal hedge growth.
●
First cut the sides from the bottom to the top.
●
Cut the upper part giving it the shape you prefer,
in a straight horizontal form, roof-like or rounded.
●
The safety blade has laterally rounded and staggered cutting teeth
to reduce danger of injury.
●
The additional shock protection avoids kick back when the blades
come into contact with walls, fences etc.
If the blades are jammed or blocked by obstacles, switch off the motor, disconnect from the power
supply and then remove the object jamming the blades.
Caution!: Avoid metal obstacles like fences etc as they may damage the cutting blades. Always make
sure to keep the extension power cable behind your back and away from your cutting path. Start
cutting the hedge at the point nearest to the supply socket and plan your working direction before
starting.
