ASSEMBLY
Safety Hints:

Recommendation: Use a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a tripping current no more than 30mA.
●
Individuals below the age of 16 and individuals who are not perfectly familiar with the instructions are
not allowed to use the power tool.
● Switch off the power tool and disconnect the plug from the power supply when; the power tool is left
unattended, maintenance is being carried out, cleaning, blade oiling, when the blades are blocked or
any if any object is to be removed from the blades.

Make sure that the protection guard is always mounted on the power tool when using the hedge
trimmer. Never remove any of its components and never use a damaged or incomplete power tool and
never modify any of the power tool components or tamper with the original trimmer arrangement in any
way.

The use of a circuit breaker is required for outdoor use. The power tool has to be connected to
socket outlets with earth contact.

Only use water proof extension power cables approved for outdoor use.

Make a loop in the extension power cable and hang into the cable hook (5).
Before Using the Hedge Trimmer
Check the power tool, power cable and plug. If any components are worn or damaged, have them
checked, repaired or replaced by a qualified electrician.

Removed the plug immediately, if the cable or extension power cable has been damaged or cut.

Keep electrical cables away from your working path and make sure to have the power cable away
behind your back. Be aware of the power cable position when changing direction.
● Always wear suitable clothing; anti
-slip shoes and close-fitting garments, that can not get caught,
however do not restrict your movement. Tie long hair back or protect with a hair net. Do not wear
bracelets or long jewelry which could get entangled in moving parts.

Always wear safety goggles or a face guard, protective gloves and wear ear guards.

Do not use the power tool when it is raining or on wet hedges.
●
Within the working area, the person using the power tool is responsible for any damaged or injury
sustained by third parties or their property, which has been caused by the power tool. Watch your
working area and do not allow third persons or animals to be around.
●
When operating the power tool take great care and always hold it firmly with both hands. Adopt a
stable and safe position, especially on slopes.
