EPLACEMENT

 

 

 
Giotto 1500 battery is located in the base of the fixture on the 
module containing the electronics boards, which holds the 
wireless antenna. 
When it becomes necessary to replace the buffer battery, by 
display message “Low Battery”, proceed as follows:  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

1.

 

Turn off the device 

2.

 

Open both the base lids being careful to the wireless antennae. 

3.

 

Open the metal lid of the base electronic module, by unscrewing the four fixing screws 

4.

 

Disconnect the cable on the Processor In card 

5.

 

Replace battery   

6.

 

Screw the nut back on the metal support  

7.

 

Put the electronic module metal lid back by tightening the four screws and close the two base 
lids

EPLACEMENT

 

The lamp replacement has to be considered an ordinary maintenance operation (ref. – Lamp 
Installation/Replacement – pg. 27). 
Giotto 1500 lamp lifespan is about 750 hours, then it is necessary to replace it. In the total life hours 
calculation consider that each lamp strike reduces of about 15 minutes the average lamp life. 
The time of use can be checked in the display menus “Lamp Strike” and “Lamp Hour”. By approaching of 
the lifetime ending (as per lamp specifications) it is recommended to replace the lamp before getting 
damages due to the lamp exploding.
