STATISTIC

 

 

1.

 

Connect Giotto 1500 to the power supply, wait till it has completed reset operations. 
Use the DIAL  to find the “

PAN-TILT SETUP

” menu. Press ENTER to confirm. 

2.

 

Use the DIAL to select the menu desired among

: 

LAMP HOUR - LAMP STRIKE - SCANNER HOUR. 

3.

 

Press ENTER to confirm. 

 

Lamp elapsed time meter 

Giotto  1500 

microcomputer  stores  various  data,  including  those  related  to  the 

number of hours the lamp is lit (elapsed time). This is necessary to know in advance 
when it’s almost time of relamping: lamp life is approximately 750 hours. 
To see how many hours a lamp has been used, proceed as follows:

: 

1.

 

Use the DIAL  to find the “LAMP HOUR” menu. 

The lamp life hours will be 

displayed automatically

. 

 

Resetting the lamp elapsed time meter 

Each time a new lamp is fitted it’s possible to reset the meter indicating the elapsed 
time in order to have the real elapsed time for the lamp about to be fitted. 
To reset the lamp elapsed time, proceed as follows

: 

1.

 

Use the DIAL to find “LAMP HOUR” menu. 

2.

 

Press ENTER to confirm. The message on the display will start to flash. 

3.

 

Use the DIAL 

to reset the meter.

 

On the contrary, use the DIAL to restores 

the previous value

. 

4.

 

Press ESC to confirm. 

 

Lamp strike meter 

Giotto  1500 

microcomputer  stores  various  data,  including  those  related  to  the 

number  of  lamp  strikes.  This  information  is  important  because  the  ‘unuseful’  lamp 
strikes  cause  stress  to  the  components,  so  they  can  contribute  to  reduce  the  lamp 
life. 
To know the lamp strikes number

: 

1.

 

Use the DIAL to find “LAMP STIKE”. 

The strikes number will be displayed 

automatically.

 

 

 

Resetting the lamp strike meter 

Each time the fixture is relamped, it is possible to reset the lamp strike meter which 
counts the strikes, in order to have number of actual strikes for the lamp about to be 
installed. 
To reset the lamp strike meter, proceed as follows

: 

1.

 

Use the DIAL to find “LAMP STIKE” menu. 

2.

 

Press ENTER to confirm. The message on the display will start to flash. 

3.

 

Use the DIAL to reset the meter

. 

On the contrary, use the DIAL to restores the 

previous value.

 

4.

 

Press ESC to confirm.
