Menu Description
DMX SETUP
1.
Connect Giotto 1500 to the power supply, wait till it has completed reset operations.
2.
Use the DIAL to find the “
DMX SETUP
” menu. Press ENTER to confirm.
3.
Use the DIAL to select the menu desired among:
ADDRESS – WIRELESS - WIRELESS LOGOFF - WIRELESS EXIT - DMX DELAY – SIGNAL.
4.
Press ENTER to confirm.
Starting Channell Assignment (addressing)
To receive the necessary instructions for its functionning, it is necessary to
assign to each projector a starting address from a controller. This address
indicates the first channel used (starting channel) and can be assigned in a
different way from the one used to connect the signal line. Giotto 1500
uses a number of channels included between 31 e 35 for SPOT
configuration, between 19 e 20 for WASH configuration, between 32 e 35
for PROFILE configuration e between 53 e 55 for DIGITAL configuration
accordingly to the operating mode set. In phase of assigment it’s
important to remember this quantity in order to avoid channels
overlapping with other projectors.
