4.1
General information about the settings
A distinction is made between the following settings:
●
Settings that can only be set using the
GasCom
software
●
Settings that can be set either on the device or using the
GasCom
software
When a device is connected to a computer on which the
GasCom
software is started:
●
The current settings of the device are read out automatically
and saved in the software.
●
Settings made using software must be transferred to the de-
vice.
4.2
Settings using the GasCom software
Most settings for the device are made on the computer using the
GasCom
software.
They include:
●
Specify application at switching on
●
activate/deactivate the guided device inspection
●
Setting alarm thresholds
● Set unit for measuring flammable gases in the
Warning
application
●
Permanently change the gas type
●
Set up test gases
●
Read the protocols, delete them, …
