WARNING! Risk to life when using de-adjusted or
faulty devices in the Warning application
A device inspection must be performed regularly when the
device is used as a gas warning instrument. This applies
both when the
Warning
application is preset and when
switching to this application from another application.

Germany:
Perform the device inspection
Warning ECO
or
Warn-
ing
daily before each work shift or when switching to the
Warning
application for the first time on any given day.
●
All other countries:
Perform the device inspection in accordance with the
national specifications, but at least daily before each
work shift.
Requirement for changing the application

The device is drawing in clean air.
The device is in measuring mode.
1. Press the Menu key.
2. Use the arrow keys to select the desired application.
3. Press the Enter key.
For the new application, the gas types including their measur-
ing ranges and the alarm thresholds are displayed.
The device switches to measuring mode.
4. Wait until all measurement values are displayed. The device
is now ready for use.

Set zero point
If the measured values deviate from the target values for clean
air (table to Fig. 25), the zero point can be reset temporarily.
The zero point is set temporarily for each separate application.
This means that only the gases used in the application are set
to the target value.
