Normal Operation 

The  main  screen  in  Normal  Working,  or  without 
special events taking place. 

Alarm:1 

 

In the event of alarm (fire or smoke) the display will 
read  the  following  text.  The  red  Alarm  LED  goes  on 
and the alarm contact closes. 

Fault:1 

 

In  the  case  of  a  fault  (interruption  of  beam  or  an 
oversignal)  the  display  will  read  the  following  text. 
The  yellow  LED  will  go  on  and  the  fault  contact  will 
change status. 

Maint:1 

 

In the event of a maintenance request (RX<50%) the 
display  will  read  the  following  text.  The  yellow  LED 
will go on and the fault contact will change status. 

C-Err:1 

Fault:1 

In  the  event  of  communication  problems  between 
the  control  unit  and  the  detector,  this  wording  is 
displayed and a fault signal will be sent. 

Alarm:1 

Fault:1 

If more than one event occurs at the same time, the 
alarm indication will always take precedence. 

8.5 EVENTS MESSAGING   

 

During  system  working  the  display  and  the  LEDs  on  the  control  unit  indicate  the 
detector status: normal working alarm, fault, maintenance request, communication 
error.
