Zero calibration TOC (only if activated by SERES)
The "Zero” cycle is used to determine a TOC value due to the zero water used for the standards as
well as the zero water contained in the reagents. Thus this (low) value will be subtracted from the results
on the sample / standard. It is a zero reference.
It’s necessary to use some water instead of the standard solution (
same deionised or pure water used
to prepare the standard
).
From the main screen:
Make sure to stop the cycle in progress (from the main screen, press
).
Enter the authorised user code.
Access the "Tools" tab:
Push on Maintenance

Start the “ZERO measure” by pressing
.
At the end of the cycle, a window displays the zero mass and TOC concentration measured. If it’s
ok for you, it’s necessary to validate with green button.
11.2.4
Maintenance cycle – Periodic trigger (option)
There is the possibility of performing maintenance cycles (TOC calibration, manual measurement, ..)
periodically, automatically.
The option is activated or not by the manufacturer (SERES).
The customer can configure the periodicity. This periodicity is expressed in the number of measurement cycles
before performing the maintenance cycle.
From the main screen:
• Select the "Tools" tab;
• Enter the user code and confirm;
• Go to the "Options" menu;
You will find a text indicating: "Nb cycles before calibration" (for example)
