Measure the input voltage between the
fuel injector coupler terminal and ground.
Check the wiring harness if below specifi-
cation.

Measure the resistance of the fuel injec-
tors.

Checking the low-pressure fuel 
pump and high-pressure fuel pump

1.

Check the low-pressure fuel pump and
high-pressure fuel pump operating sound
with “Stationary test” of the YDIS. Check
the fuel pump motors if there is no sound.

Disconnect the low-pressure fuel pump
coupler

 and high-pressure fuel pump

coupler 

2

.

3.

Measure the resistance of the fuel pump
motors.

Checking the high-pressure fuel 
pump relay

Remove the high-pressure fuel pump
relay 

1

 and check it. To check the relay,

see  “Checking the main relay and elec-
tronic throttle valve relay” in this chapter.

Connect the tester leads to terminals
