H.F. generation circuit checking procedure
(level 1 and 2)
Stage 1 : Connect the machine to the mains.
Close the master switch.
Fit a switch between the pins of the connector located on the front panel.
Checks :
With multimeter set to Vdc, check between the points of board 15.14.192 :
CN2/1 - CN2/4
=
230 Vac @ 400 Vac of line
yes
: go on ;
no
: check correct insertion of the connector
With multimeter set to Vdc, check between the points of board 15.14.192 :
i - ii
=
900 (+/-100) Vdc
yes
: go on ;
no
: replace board 15.14.192
Stage 2 : As above
Checks :
With a tester set to Vdc, check between the points of board 15.14.192 (with CN1 inserted):
CN1/1 - CN1/2
=
0
with torch button released
CN1/1 - CN1/2
=
8 Vdc
with torch button pressed
yes
: go on ;
no
:
- check correct connection of connector CN4 on board 15.14.236 and CN1 on board 15.14.192
- replace the front panel FP106
