This guide has three chapters and three appendices:

Chapter 1, Introduction , provides some general informa-
tion about the SLP 120/220 and the Smart Label program.

Chapter 2, Getting Started , provides instructions for con-
necting the SLP 120/220 to an IBM-compatible PC, load-
ing labels into the printer, and installing the Smart Label
program. It also describes the toolbar functions, how to
prepare and print labels, and how to use on-line help.

Chapter 3, Changing Labels and Printer Care , provides
information for replacing a label roll and taking care of
your SLP.
■
Appendix A, Specifications , provides SLP 120/220 specifi-
cations and the connector pin assignments.

Appendix B, Commonly Asked Questions and Answers,
provides a list of questions and answers that can help
you resolve problems.

Appendix C, Technical Support and Service , describes
how to determine if your SLP needs service and how to
