About Your Smart Label Printer

The Smart Label Printer

®

 from Seiko Instruments replaces 

the typewriter for many daily tasks. These compact printers 
with their integrated Smart Label software print high-quality, 
personalized labels—eliminating the need for handwritten 
or typewritten envelopes and ending the hassle of using 
your regular printer to print labels for envelopes, file 
folders, bar codes, ID badges and more. 

The SLP is the best way of printing one-at-a-time labels 
instantly without the setup hassle and wasted labels 
experienced when making labels with a regular printer. 
Direct thermal printing technology does not use ink, toner 
or ribbon, just labels. The SLP produces fast, laser-quality 
output on a variety of label sizes with the ability to print 
text, photo-like graphics, POSTNET codes and bar codes. 

The Smart Label software features a WYSIWYG editor, 
SmartCapture

™

 and SmartCopy

™

 to capture text and 

addresses right off your screen, built-in database, a 
Windows print driver, and background printing. It uses 
TrueType fonts and imports logos, graphics, and text files.
