How to Use the ThinPrint
®
Connection Service
The .print Connection Service sends print jobs via TCP/IP to .print cli-
ents (i.e. the TPG) in masked networks (NAT), for example.
The Connection Service manages the entire communication between
the ThinPrint® server and the client. This allows the connection via
masked networks as well as the assignment of the relevant print job
to the respective end device.
To use this service, you must prepare the TPG. For each end device
that uses the Connection Service, you must store the client ID and
an authentication key in the database of the Connection Service.
You must also set these two values on the TPG.
Please note that you need a ThinPrint® license for each client ID.
