COMMUNICATIONS
CABLE
This cooler is compatible with a wide range of MagIQtouch
control solutions, including Wall Controllers, Building
Management System (BMS) Controllers and Sensor
Accessories.
Refer to the Installation & Operation Manual for the selected
MagIQtouch product for setup instructions.
Whichever control option is being used, the inbuilt water
management and fault monitoring features are always
functional.
Note!
If a BMS is used, it is suggested that technicians obtain
a MagIQtouch Wall Controller as a tool for use during servicing.
The MagIQtouch Controller provides additional user and
technician functions.
Coolers are supplied with a 20m (66’) control cable. Longer
cable lengths are available for order via Seeley International.
GROUP INSTALLATIONS
Each cooler electronics has a terminating resistor dipswitch
located near the communications port. Ensure all cooler
electronics dipswitches are set to “OFF” except for the last
cooler in the series. The last cooler dipswitch should be
switched to “ON” to ensure communication reliabilty.
Note: The terminating resistor dipswitch position is set to OFF
by default.

Important!
The maximum cable length allowed from the
MagIQtouch Controller to the first cooler is 40 metres (131’),
between each subsquent cooler 40 metres (131’) up to a
maximum distance of 500 metres (1650’).
Failure of the product or components to operate correctly due
to modification to supplied cables, or the use of non-approved
cables will NOT be accepted under the Manufacturer’s
Warranty.
