ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
WARNING! Improper wiring between the inside units and the outside unit can cause serious
damage to the system, and the risk of personal injury or fire. Use caution when
connecting the wiring to insure that the wires are connected properly.
DO NOT USE THERMOSTAT WIRE TO CONNECT OUTDOOR TO INDOOR UNIT!
● Wiring:
1. Open electric box cover, install the interconnect cable from the outdoor unit to cassette. Secure
at clamp and connect to terminal strip. See Figure 17 below.
2. Wrap the smallest piece of foam around cable at rubber plug (grommet) in electrical box to
prevent condensation from forming in the electrical box.
3. Be sure cable is secured with clamp located in electrical box.
4. If wall control is being installed use the second rubber grommet for wiring. Do not run the 4
conductor cable with interconnect power cable (indoor to outdoor). Connect the connector to
connector on P.C board at CN9 (blue connector).
