SELECTING LOCATIONS FOR THE INDOOR UNIT
1. Remove obstructions from the inlet and outlet area of the indoor unit so that airflow is not
obstructed.
2. Ensure the installation is done as per the clearance and mounting requirements shown in Figure 5.
3. Select a place that is strong enough to withstand 4 times the weight of the indoor unit.
This prevents vibration and noise.
4. Ensure the installation place is horizontal.
5. Select a place where the condensate water is easily drained and the drain pipe can be easily
connected with outdoor unit.
6. Make sure that there is enough space for care and maintenance. Make sure that the distance
between the indoor unit and ground is above 5.9 feet or more.
7. When installing the hanging bolt, check and see if the installing place can withstand 4 times of the
weight of the unit. If not, reinforce before installation. (Refer to the installation cardboard template
and find where should be reinforced.)
