NOTE: Improper installation or flexing of weak floor will cause excessive vibration. Do not
slide the Vortex M6 across floor once the leveling legs have been extended, as legs and
base could become damaged.

3.4.6 Plug in the Instrument
Electrical Requirements
220 Volt ±10%, 50/60 Hertz with Earth/Ground Plug
When plugging in the Vortex M6:
• DO NOT overload circuits.
• DO NOT use an extension cord.
• DO NOT use an adapter.
• DO NOT operate other appliances on the same circuit. Use separately fused 15 Amp
circuits.
The Vortex M6 is designed to be operated on a separate branch, polarized, three‐wire,
effective earth/ground, 220 Volt, 50/60 Hertz, AC (alternating current), circuit protected by a
15 ampere fuse, equivalent fuse or circuit breaker.
The power cord should be plugged directly into an effective earth/ground receptacle rated
220 Volts AC (alternating current) 15 Amps.
