IMPORTANT NOTES ON THE CONNECTION OF THE ACTUATORS TO THE OUTPUT RELAYS
The 8 output relays can be used to command various devices such as sounders, flash-lights etc. However, in order to
prevent malfunctions or faults, the following points must be kept into account:
a) Try not to connect devices absorbing, even if only temporarily, a current that is higher than the one tolerated by the
contacts (7 amperes for 27 volts).
b) If the device to be activated is power supplied with a voltage higher than 27 volts (for example, a lamp supplied by 220V
mains voltage), avoid direct command of the device and use a service relay located in a dedicated isolated case fitted
with adequate contacts and isolations
(the terminal strips and the rack connections of the 8 relay module are not
sized for the mains voltage
.
c) If the device to be commanded is an
inductive
load (any device controlled by wire winding such as electro-lock,
motorized sounders, transformers, contact-breakers or relays) it is indispensable that an element for the recovery of the
magnetization energy is fitted on it, as reported below:
- If the load is supplied in
continuous current,
insert an inversely polarized diode in parallel as shown in the plan
