6-1 UNIT CONFIGURATION FROM PANEL
This function makes possible to adjust the settings for zones, times, options and to carry out automatic configuration of
the concentrators.(expansion panels)
To activate this mode, protected at access level 3, proceed as follows:
a)
remove the screws in the panel door to access the internal electronics;
b)
insert configuration jumper
JP2
(see figure 1) into the rear part of the display/command panel.
c)
physically reset the microprocessor card by quickly pressing button
SW1
(see figure 1).
The configuration phase is signalled by the yellow general DEACTIVATION and TEST LED flashing on the panel. The
message
CONFIG.ACTIVATED
also appears in the bottom line on the display.
The top line on the display visualizes a message indicating the panel model and firmware version.
After activating configuration mode, all the panel alarm/fault actuators are positioned in a standby state and an internal
reset of the memory of alarms/faults present is carried out.

Configuration can be
deactivated
by removing jumper JP2.

NOTE:
If no key is pressed for more than 4 minutes when in configuration mode, the buzzer and panel fault
output are activated.
The display/adjustment of the configuration settings is carried out by selecting
‘memory cells’
which identify the different
resources which can be configured by number.
Use the following procedure to select memory cells:
a) Press the key SELECT. (5); to display the message:
CELL SEL.: ---
VALUE : ---
b) Type in three digits for cell selection (e.g.: 001)
The bottom line displays the current contents of the memory cell.
Use the following procedure to modify the configuration value:
a) Press the RESET (0) key on the control panel. The current setting disappears from the bottom line and three dashes
appear.
b) Set the new value by typing in three digits, then press the LOCK (6) key to confirm the change.
If the operation has been carried out successfully, the buzzer emits a sound and the set value stops flashing.
Press the CE key to finish the operation or to cancel it before pressing key LOCK.
