Immediate alarm
button
If pressed in access level 1or 2 with the alarm delay on, it immediately activates the outputs.
If pressed in access level 2 with the prealarm/alarm outputs stopped, they are reactivated.
3-3 ALPHANUMERIC DISPLAY AND KEYBOARD
(Ref. fig.1, section 3-1)
= 2 line x 16 character alphanumeric d numerical command ke function keys.
The display visualizes different information relating to the state of the panel and the command operations carried out.
In a standby state (level 2 not enabled and no alarm/fault present), a set message (which can be personalized) is
visualized on the top line of the display e.g.: > ALPHA 16 - 248 EN54 <
The bottom line displays the current time and date.
If a state of prealarm, alarm or fault occurs, the panel buzzer starts sounding and the general and/or zone LED relative to
the fault in course are ON.
At the same time the alphanumeric display shows the details of the fault in course and in the event of more than one state
present, these are displayed cyclically.
Relative to the alarms/faults originating from lines, the display visualizes the associated description on the first line (16
characters set by PC) and the number of the detectors and fault in course on the second line; e.g.:
001 alarm
When level 2 is not active (relative LED off), the keyboard can only be operated by typing in the access code (see
sections further on). When it is active however, different display and command operations can be carried out, in particular:
- Display the state of the lines, display the analog value and intervention thresholds.
- Display the state of the zones/sectors.
- Exclude/activate the Lines and zones.
- Activate/deactivate the test function on the zones.
- Display/modify the state of some special panel resources ( code, timer prog. etc.).
- Display and print the events (if connected to a serial printer).
- Carry out set-up of panel time and date.
- Carry out test of all LED for panel, display and buzzer.
In access level 3 (activated by opening the panel and inserting configuration jumpers) it is possible to display and set the
panel configuration with regard to lines, zones, times and operational options (programming the functional
blocks/programmable outputs and setting the internal timer programmer can only be carried out by PC using the
CFGRAIK application).
When access level 2 is enabled keys 4, 5, 6, 7 have a second function, namely:
- Key
4 (SHOW.)
makes it possible to manually display any fault or deactivation conditions in the panel (the next state is
displayed by pressing the key).
If pressed when in a standby state (no state of alarm/fault and no deactivation present), key 4 has no effect.
- Key
5 (SELECT)
makes it possible to select one of the panel devices (line or zone etc.) to display the state and carry
out deactivation operations.
Each time it is pressed, the display offers a selection of different categories, with the choice between: selection lines,
selection zones/sectors,
The selection is finished by setting the desired device number and typing in as many characters as there are dashes in
the displayed selection (e.g. 001 for line 1 or 01 for zone/sector 1).
After selection, the display shows the description and state of the device with which, if applicable, it will be possible to
carry out deactivation/activation operations using key 6 (see charter 5).
- Key
6 (DEACT.)
only works after selecting a device using key 5 and makes it possible, if applicable, to deactivate or
activate it.
- Key
7 (TEST LED)
makes it possible to test all the LED for the panel, buzzer and display.
