Fire/gas with auto-reset of first alarm:
general fire or gas detector, does not control the prealarm threshold and is
subject to the auto-reset logic of the first alarm (see paragraph 4-4). Typical configuration for smoke detector in
environments where false alarms are likely.
The zones (logical groups of lines, also defined as “sectors”) can also be configured independently and to be precise can
be set as follows:
-
Fire/gas:
type of general zone which follows the general panel logic. Typical configuration for fire/gas detectors.
-
passive prealarm/alarm:
zone on which the prealarms/alarms of the relative lines do not lead to the general relays
and buzzer being activated (unless otherwise set) or memorising, but to the activation of visual signals which remain
for as long as the cause of activation remains. Typical configuration for technological detectors.
-
Fire/gas disable by functional block:
type of zone which follows the general panel logic but can be deactivated if
the corresponding programmable logic is on. Typical configuration for fire/gas detectors which must be periodically
deactivated, for example in time bands.
-
passive prealarm/alarm disable by functional block:
behaves like the “passive prealarm/alarm” zone type, but can
be deactivated if the corresponding programmable logic is on. Typical configuration for technological detectors which
must be periodically deactivated, for example in time bands.
