6-1-5 CONFIGURATION OF MODULES CONNECTED TO THE PANEL:
The configuration of the input/output interface modules (concentrators) connected to the panel is normally un-necessary
(it is carried out in factory) but can be useful if new modules are added or removed or in order to check the concentrators
effectively recognised and controlled by the panel.
The configuration of the modules can only be carried out automatically by locally working on the panel as follows:
a) Activate configuration, as indicated in 6-1, by inserting jumper JP2 (see plan module RAIK-P) and press reset button
SW1.
The panel display shows the message:
b) Press the CE key and successively ' TEST LED' (key 7).

c) After about 30 seconds the buzzer sounds and the display
shows the message:
This phase visualizes in sequence the concentrator modules that have been recognised and configured by the panel.
Check that all the modules effectively present are displayed (if a module has a fault or does not correctly
communicate with the panel, it is excluded from it during this stage).
It is also possible to display the concentrator modules configured in the panel using a PC and the CFGRAIK program.
6-2 PANEL CONFIGURATION BY PC:
The panel can be configured in a more complete way using a personal computer and the program CFGRAIK.
The application works with Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP and interacts with the panel through connection to serial port
COM1...10.
CFGRAIK can be used to configure:
- The type and logic of lines and sectors
- The times
- The options
- The personalized messages for lines/sectors.
- The internal clock/programmer.
- The functional blocks and associated programmable outputs.
- Higher panel options.
It is also possible transfer the configuration to file and vice versa, modify the configuration off-line on file, print the
configuration.
CFGRAIK is supplied on disk with the panel and is installed by launching the SETUP program and following the
instructions displayed.

NOTE:
CFGRAIK was developed in Visual Basic 6 and to be operated correctly requires the relative library
files, usually already present on the PC.
If these files are not present, an error is signalled during the installation phase and it is not possible to
proceed further. The VB6 files then have to be installed through the application:
Install_libraries_vb6
which is supplied separately.
Refer to the diagrams in the appendix for the cable connection between PC and panel.
