Yamaha Engine Warranty
Yamaha is ready to stand behind your purchase with strong
warranty coverage. To be sure you receive all the benefits of
warranty for your engines, please take the following steps:
• Be sure your new Yamaha is registered for warranty. Your
boat dealer should do this at the time of sale. Make sure
your dealer gives you a copy of the completed Yamaha
registration card for your records.
• Read the Yamaha Limited Warranty statement. This
warranty applies to Yamaha outboard motors sold in the
United States, whether purchased separately or when
supplied as original equipment by a boat builder.
• If you need warranty repairs, you must take your Yamaha
outboard to an authorized Yamaha outboard dealer.
• If you are away from home, or your selling dealer is not an
authorized Yamaha dealer, use the following toll-free
numbers to find the nearest Yamaha dealer.

• Your warranty applies specifically to repairs made in the
country of purchase.
