7. Troubleshooting
Problem
Cause
Remedy
Lock does not unlock
•
Missing or faulty power supply
(measure 24 V)
•
There must be at least
21.5 V DC at the lock.
Check that the power supply
unit, fuse and cable cross-
sections are sufficiently sized
and replace if necessary
•
No + 24 V control signal
•
Check control input
(pin 9/green)
•
Mechanically blocked
-door leaf or door frame is
twisted or warped
-latch is jamming
-the hardware screws are
pressing on the lock case
•
Check door leaf/frame
•
Align or adjust latch striker
correctly
•
Check hardware screws,
shorten if necessary
•
If the latch is jammed (motor
under short-circuit conditions),
the lock does not respond to
control signals for 20 s
•
The lock is in programming
mode
•
Exit or abort programming
mode (see point 6)
•
Profile cylinder actuated
•
Remove the key
•
Check cam position when key is
removed (see point 4.1)
INFO:
If the cylinder is operated when the motor is in operation, the
lock switches to overload protection and does not respond to control
signals for 20 s!
Latchbolt remains in the lock
•
No power supply, power failure
in the event of motor-driven
daytime release
•
There must be at least
21.5 V DC at the lock.
Check that the power supply
unit, fuse and cable cross-
sections are sufficiently sized
and replace if necessary.
•
Actuate lock via profile cylinder
•
A voltage of 24 V is
permanently applied on the
control line
•
Check control signal; deactivate
the daytime relase
(see point 4.3)
•
Mechanically blocked
•
See point "Lock does not
unlock"
•
Profile cylinder actuated
•
Remove the key
•
Lever handle permanently
actuated (follower)
•
Check hardware
Lock unlocks automatically
•
Door contact defective or
jumper missing
•
Check door contact or wiring
