Operational safety
Hold the machine securely.
The device must be guided by the handle and the hoop (VB 215 and VB 225) or by both handles (VB 316).
Be especially careful when switched on.
Never operate the release lever when the device is not in use.
After the shot has been fired, lift the device off the animal's head immediately.
For safer handling (guiding), the stunning device must be
suspended
from a spring balancer,
see section
5.1.1 Spring balancer.
