3.2 Controls
Pos. Description Function
1 Main switch
Switches the power on and off
2 Push button Pump ON / OFF
Switches the vacuum generator on and off
3 Push button Turn right / left
Turns the workpiece by any angle up to 180°.
4 Push button Grip / Release
Grips and releases the workpiece.
5 Indicator lamp Fault
Indicates that the motor-protection switch has been tripped.
6 Switch Manual / Foot switch
(option)
Activates the optional foot switch for Vacuum On / Off and Turn
right / left .
If the foot switch is active, the controls on the control panel are
disabled in order to prvent accidental operation.
3.3 Vacuum
generation
Danger
The vacuum pump generates the vacuum for the vacuum turning bench.
The vacuum pump and the pressure regulator are set in the factory to optimum
values and may not be adjusted by the user.
Adjustment of the vacuum pump by unqualified persons can reduce the carrying
capacity of the device or cause unexpected failures and can thus lead to accidents!
3.4 Swivelling Unit
With the aid of the swivelling unit, the workpiece can be swivelled continuously
through 180°.
The swivelling unit is driven by a geared motor.
The swivelling unit is controlled by a push button on the control panel.
