Placing the RoadMAPS Unit in the Vehicle
Follow this procedure to set up the RoadMAPS Unit in the vehicle
passenger seat.
1 Place the RoadMAPS Unit in the passenger seat with the seat-
belt retention loop facing the back of the seat.
2 Press the blue button on the safety pin, and pull the pin out of
the seatbelt retention loop. (See Figure 3.3)

3 Guide the seat belt through the seat belt retention loop, as
shown in Figure 3.4.
Never set up a RoadMAPS Unit during a lightning storm or under excessively wet con-
ditions.
