4 Ecosine max harmonic filter schematics and working principle
The base module of FN 3471, FN3473, FN 3481 and FN 3483 series contains line choke, trap choke
and trap capacitor, which helps reduce THDi to 5% for motor drives with an 4% DC-link choke present.

The base module of FN 3470, FN3472, FN 3480 and FN 3482 series contains line choke, load choke,
trap choke and trap capacitor, which helps reduce THDi to 5% for motor drives without DC-link choke
present. The base module schematic is shown in Figure 16.

There is either trap disconnect jumper module or trap disconnect switch module available for
FN 3470/FN 3471, FN 3472/FN 3473, FN 3480/FN 3481 and FN 3482/FN 3483 filters.
