6.1. Connecting to Supply Line
Never attach the Scanjet BIO 25 by grabbing the nozzle housing! Always use
proper tools, and turn on the threaded connection as shown in the picture below.
When threading the inlet connection of the tank cleaning machine to the
cleaning media connection, Scanjet recommends that Food Grade Tefl on tape
or any other appropriate food grade anti-seizing compound is used to avoid
metal galling. (Galling means that threads clamp together and cannot easily be
loosened.)
Following anti-seize compounds is recommended for use with food
industry, “FDA approved”
