9. FINISHING THE
INSTALLATION
STANDARD CEILING INSTALLATION
Slide canopy up to the ceiling as shown in
Figure 17. Make sure you place the wires
safely into the outlet box. Secure the
canopy to the hanger bracket with the
four screws with your fan.
CLOSE-TO-CEILING INSTALLATION
Remove the fan from the hook on the
hanger bracket. Secure the canopy to the
hanger bracket as shown in Figure 18 with
four screws included with your fan.
8. INSTALLING THE WALL
TRANSMITTER
REMEMBER
to Shut the Power Off at the
Circuit Breaker or Fuse Box.
WARNING:
HOOK UP IN "SERIES ONLY" DO
NOT CONNECT THE HOT AND NEUTRAL
WIRES OF ELECTRIC CIRCUIT TO THE
TRANSMITTER WALL SWITCH - DAMAGE TO
THE SWITCH AND POSSIBLE FIRE COULD
OCCUR.
Step 1. Remove the existing wall plate and
switch from the wall junction box.
Step 2. Make the electrical connections as
shown in (Fig. 15). If your outlet box has a
ground wire (green or bare copper)
connect the wall transmitter's ground wire
to it; otherwise connect the wall
transmitter's ground wire directly to one of
the screws from the outlet box.
Step 3. (Fig. 16) Carefully tuck the wire
connections inside the junction box. Secure
the wall transmitter with the two screws
provided. Attach the wall plate over the
wall transmitter and secure with the two
screws provided.
