Releasing
■
When using the magnet vertically, secure the workpiece against falling (e.g. with a crane).
■
If the magnet is equipped with a connector, remove it from the parking station and plug it in. Always ensure that
there is no dirt or water.
■
Use the corresponding button to initiate the demagnetising cycle. A light will flash to indicate the demagnetising
pulses. Wait until the demagnetising has been completed (red signal light permanently on).
■
Remove the workpiece.
■
If the workpiece still adheres due to residual remanence (for tool steel), use light taps to release it from the
magnet.
■
If the magnet has a connector, only unplug this once the demagnetising cycles has been completed and the red
signal light is permanently on. Risk from electric arc.
DANGER!
Risk of electric shock!
The magnetic holding force is switched on and off with current pulses.
Electro permanent magnetic circular chucks use high magnetising and demag-
netising voltages. An electric shock can result in death or serious injuries.
■
If the magnet has a connector, only unplug this once the demagnetising
cycles has been completed and the red signal light is permanently on.
Risk from electric arc.
