DANGER!
Risk of crushing!
There is a risk of limbs being crushed by the magnetic circular chucks
tipping over, falling or losing stability during assembly.
■
The magnetic circular chucks must be placed on a level, stable surface.
■
The magnetic circular chucks must be attached using the holes, the
threads or the recessed areas on the machine tool.
■
During assembly, the magnetic circular chucks must be secured against
falling or tipping over.
DANGER!
Risk of crushing!
Incorrect assembly of the circular magnetic chuck can cause a malfunction
of the machine and cause crushing and jamming points. This poses a risk of
limbs being crushed.
■
Check the mechanical installation after assembly.
■
Keep a sufficient distance to surrounding objects.
Install any add-on parts in such a way that no crushing or jamming points
are created with surrounding objects.
DANGER!
Hazard from ejected objects!
Incorrect operation can cause objects to be ejected, causing serious injuries
and even death.
■
The machine operator must be protected with a suitable shield
installed on the machine. This shield must be designed to absorb the
kinetic energy of the part.
NOTE!
The pole plate can be equipped with holes for attaching locking pins or
with machined areas. Through holes are possible in certain positions; this
requires a consultation with the manufacturer. Always consult the manufac-
turer before machining any areas. Incorrectly machined areas can destroy
the magnet.
The magnetic circular chucks are attached either using threads on the rear side or, for larger magnets, with screws
in through holes.
We recommend strength class 10.9 for the fastening screws. Select the appropriate tightening torque, e.g 15 Nm
for M6 screws, 37 Nm for M8 screws, 75 Nm for M10 screws, 128 Nm for M12 screws, 314 Nm for M16 screws,
615 Nm for M20 screws and 1,059 Nm for M24 screws, Use a torque spanner!
For chucking contoured parts or for attaching permanent stops, appropriate recessed areas can be integrated into
the pole plate. It has to be ensured in these cases that the plate remains watertight and that the windings on the
inside are not damaged by excessive milling or drilling. In case of doubt, please consult the manufacturer.
