Heating system, building and air conditioning
General setting values
Heating (degree) days
Any day is regarded as a heating day if the outdoor temperature
averaged over a period of 24 h falls below the corresponding
heating limit (SERV 61). The heating-day counter (SERV 62) is
updated at midnight of the corresponding day.
The number of heating degree days is calculated by adding up
the difference of outdoor temperature (sensor measuring value)
minus the room reference temperature (SERV 60) over periods
of 24 h (= 1 day). The heating-degree-day counter (SERV 63)
is also incremented at midnight if the corresponding day was a
heating day.

The frost-protection function is activated when the external temperature falls below the value set for the
frost limit. When changing the setpoint for the frost limit, the sign (+ or –) must always be entered first.
The sign is entered by pressing the incrementation keys

Design temperature
The design temperature (for the heating system) specifies the limit for intermittent heating operation.
If outdoor temperatures are below the design temperature, the system will heat continuously in the
mode when controlled by the weekly or annual program, i.e. there is no nightly reduction of the heating
performance.
