Next, the parameters (obtained
from
the administrator of the given monitoring station
)
which enable communication between the GSM LT-2 module and the monitoring station are
to be programmed:
•
Station address
– IP address of the monitoring station. It can be entered in the form of
a name or in the form of a number.
•
Port
– number of the TCP port through which communication with the monitoring station
will be effected. Values from 1 to 65535 can be entered. The port number must correspond
to that defined in the monitoring station.
•
Station key
– a sequence of 1 to 12 alphanumeric characters (digits, letters and special
characters), which define the key for coding the data to be sent to the monitoring station.
It must correspond to that defined in the monitoring station.
•
System identifier
–
a sequence of 4 characters (digits or letters from A to F) to identify
the module. Using the digit 0 in the identifier is not recommended. Default value: 0000 (this
sequence is tantamount to "no identifier").
•
GPRS key
–
a sequence of 1 to 5
alphanumeric
characters which identify the
GSM/GPRS module
. It must correspond to that defined in the monitoring station
("ETHM/GPRS key").
