- Fit the cable screenings with end crimps and connect them to the terminal strip marked yellow, which is not
connected conductantly to the housing.
- The screenings of the extension cable must be must be connected on the indicator/transmitter as described
in the manual.
- After delivery, the cable junction box is prepared for load cells in 4-wire connection. For using the cable
junction box for load cells in 6-wire connection, jumpers J1 and J2 must be removed.

For connection between cable junction box and indicator, we recommend using cables PR6135, PR6136 and the
armoured versions (...A) with increased protection against cable cutting.

The cable junction box is provided with lightning protection by means of 2 surge suppressor diodes. The standard
version is equipped so that no modifications of the cable junction box are required if the load cell screening is
not connected to the housing. For load cells with the screening connected to the housing (PR6221), jumper J3
across the terminal strip for the screenings must be removed.
