Loadcells manufactured by Sartorius Hamburg GmbH meet high quality standards and provide very accurately
calibrated output values.
Due to mechanical unsymmetries, however, inadmissible corner load errors with large-sized weighbridges may
occur, which have to be compensated by means of resistors to be fitted by soldering.
(After delivery, the jumpers for the resistors are short-circuited).
Important hint: Correct installation and exact alignment of load cells are decisive for high measurement
accuracy and for the load cell behaviour with corner load. For this reason, load cell installation and alignment
should always be checked first in case of a corner adjustment error.
Minimize the corner adjustment error by selecting the load cell with the lowest indicated load as a reference.
The other load cells are adapted to the displayed value of the reference load cell by additional resistors in the
load cell output.
