CAUTION:
Never close the housing cover by force! Otherwise, check that the discs are
seated correctly and readjust them.
FURTHER STEPS FOR APPLIANCE OPERATION AFTER INSERTING THE DISCS
Prepare the food:
- Peel as required, wash and possibly manually pre-cut and prepare according to the size of the intake
openings of the appliance.
- For TITUS: Here it is possible to insert a whole cabbage head that has not been cut into pieces.
- Check that the appliance is standing securely on a dry, non-hot, non-slip surface.
- Check the ventilation slots (air intake under the appliance, air outlet at the back of the appliance).
The ventilation slots must be free!
- Is the appliance lid closed properly? Please check and close correctly if necessary.
- If the small, round filling opening is not used, close it with the plunger.
ATTENTION: Use the adjustment device on the plunger and the filling rim to fix the plunger, screw it
into the adjustment so that it cannot be pushed out when the appliance is in operation. This prevents
partially chopped food pieces from creeping up the feed opening.
Closing the opening also reduces the risk!
Remove the plunger only for appropriate filling and press with the plunger.
- Place the collection container at the bottom of the ejector.
- Recommended dimensions: W 24 (minimum) x D 20 (minimum) x H 14 cm (maximum).
FOOD PROCESSING THROUGH LARGE FILLING OPENING
- Insert the appliance plug into the appropriate socket.
- Move lever / bracket upwards to release the large feed opening.
- Fill the feed opening with prepared food.
- Please do not overfill to avoid re-filling or clogging.
- Press the green button on the top of the appliance.
- When it lights up, the appliance is ready for operation and the lever / bracket can be pulled down
evenly.
- If the feed opening is closed for access, the magnetic switch also automatically closes the circuit,
the machine starts, the cutting or grating process begins. The end product falls into the collection
container in front of the machine. If the lever/handle is pressed all the way down and nothing more
falls into the collection container, press the lever/handle up again, the machine stops by means of
the magnetic switch, it can now be filled again, and the process is repeated until the production
process is finished.
- In case of short interruptions, switch off the machine for safety reasons, press the red button.
- At the end of the production process, press the red button to switch off the machine, then pull out
the mains plug and clean the machine.
