LIGHT-MEASURING MODE SETTING
You can select from 3 types of light-measuring modes.
Multi-section light-measuring : Light is measured by sampling from
multiple areas of the entire shooting screen.
Center-weighted light-measuring : Light is measured from the entire
shooting screen, but gives more
importance to the values near the
center.
Spot light-measuring : You can compose the picture and capture the image
after first measuring the light only at the center spot
of the LCD monitor.

the light-measuring mode (EXP
MEASURE) menu.

This completes the light-measuring
mode setting.

When spot light-measuring is
selected, the light-measuring spot
mark
K
appears in the center of
the LCD monitor.
HINT
Shooting with the spot light-measuring mode
œ
Point the camera so that the light-measuring spot mark is centered on the
specific spot you wish to use to measure the light, and press the shutter
release button halfway. The light at the spot mark will be measured.
Keeping the shutter release button depressed halfway, compose the
picture and press the shutter release button all the way down to capture the
image.
