BASIC mode and EXPERT mode
The BASIC mode makes it easy for a person not familiar with digital camera
operation to take photos, but having the camera automatically set the
shooting functions and minimizing the number of functions you have to deal
with. On the other hand, the EXPERT mode is perfect for the photographer
who likes to have full control over all a camera’s shooting functions and
settings. The table below shows which shooting functions are controlled by
the camera operator in each mode. Note that functions for which camera
buttons are furnished, such as flash, zoom, focus modes, etc., are always
available in both modes.
