The interval by which you want to run the battery test automatically can be changed. See “2.21 Setting the Battery Test Schedule” in
the Setting Menu Manual.
The battery test result serves as a general guide only. Even if the result is normal, contact your supplier or SANYO DENKI as soon as
possible if the possibility exists that the batteries have deteriorated.
When a battery test is performed during asynchronous operation and the batteries have deteriorated, an instantaneous interruption of
10 to 20 ms may occur when the UPS switches to bypass operation.
A battery test cannot be performed in the following states (1) to (5).
To cancel a battery test in progress . . .
Hold down
on the control panel for at least 2 seconds.
The UPS returns to normal operation.
During the battery test, if any of (1) to (3) occurs or if any of (4) to (5) is performed, the battery test is canceled.
When the battery test is canceled, the battery test result is not displayed in [BATT.TEST green].
Canceling a battery test
(1) Input (voltage, frequency) error
(2) UPS malfunction
(3) Output overcurrent
Note on the battery test
States in which the battery test is not possible
(1) The inverter is stopped
(2) The bypass power supply is active
(3) When the input voltage and input frequency are
outside the rated range
(4) A shutdown is being performed by, for example, a remote
operation.
(5) When the UPS is malfunctioning
(4) Hold down for at least one second.
