Do not sit, step, or lean on the UPS or carry out any other such conduct. It may result in bodily injury.
The weight of the UPS is 15 kg. Wear safety shoes during the installation. All work that involves lifting the UPS should be
carried out by at least two persons. Bodily injury may occur if the UPS is dropped. Additionally, take care not to strain your
back.
When installing the UPS, take care not to get your fingers caught.
When installing the UPS horizontally, be sure to install the UPS so that the control panel of the UPS is on the right side.
Do not place objects on top of the UPS. Doing so may cause UPS failure.
(1) Place the UPS in the installation location so that the UPS control panel is on the right side.
(2) Apply the supplied installation date label in a location that can be checked easily. See “3.6 Applying the Installation Date Label”
for details.

When installing the UPS vertically, use the optional stands or floor mounting brackets. When placed vertically without the
stands or brackets, vibration and shock such as an earthquake may cause the UPS to move or fall, possibly resulting in
bodily injury.

To prevent the UPS from toppling over when installed vertically, attach two optional stands or two floor mounting brackets and be
sure to install the UPS so that the control panel is on the upper side. For how to attach the stands and floor mounting brackets, refer
to the corresponding instruction manual.
(1) Place the UPS in the installation location so that the UPS control panel is on the upper side.
(2) Apply the supplied installation date label in a location that can be checked easily. See “3.6 Applying the Installation Date Label”
for details.
