CAUTION
!
Perform a battery test periodically to check if the batteries have deteriorated. Using a deteriorated battery may result
in battery leakage and, in the worst case, smoke, a fire or a disaster. When the batteries have deteriorated, replace
them.
Run a battery test following the procedure below. If the UPS has performed a backup operation within 12 hours prior to the test, the
result may show an error. In such a case, conduct the test when the UPS has not performed a backup operation within the last 12
hours.

Slide the cover of the control panel upward, and hold down
on the control panel for at least 2 seconds.
The [BATT.TEST (green)] blinks, and the battery test starts.

The test is completed within a
period of approximately 1 minute.

Check the results of the battery test based on the lit state
of the [BATT.TEST (green)] and buzzer sound.
When the [BATT.TEST (green)] blinks and the buzzer
sounds, the batteries need to be replaced. Contact your
sales representative or SANYO DENKI.

returns to normal.
