8. Using the handles (3), lift the windshield up and to the 

rear of the cab ceiling until it is latched in the open 
position.

NOTE:

The right side of the windshield is shown. 
The left side is similar.

Closing the Windshield

1. Before closing the windshield, park the machine on level ground, lower the work equipment to the ground, and 

stop the engine.

2. Move the hydraulic lockout control lever (1) to the 

locked (closed) position.

CAUTION!

When open, the windshield must be latched securely to the ceiling of the cab. If it is not 
secured properly, the windshield may slide down unexpectedly and result in personal injury

 

or damage to the machine.

CAUTION!

Close the windshield slowly to avoid pinching hands or fingers. Failure to follow this caution

 

could result in personal injury or machine damage.
