7. Remove the case drain filter.

8. Install a new case drain filter and a new O-ring.

9. Install the case drain filter cover.

10. Add hydraulic oil. See “Add Hydraulic Oil” on page 5-62.

11. Start and run the engine at low idle for 10 minutes in order to bleed any air from the hydraulic system.

12. Check for leaks and repair as necessary.

13. Shut down the engine. See “Engine Shutdown Procedure” on page 4-16.

Collect Oil Samples

1. Obtain an oil analysis sample kit from a SANY dealer.

2. Operate the machine until the lubricant is at normal operating temperature.

3. Collect and send the sample for testing in accordance with the instructions packaged with the sample kit.

Collect Engine Oil Sample

1. Obtain an oil analysis sample kit from a SANY dealer.

2. Start the engine and operate the machine until engine oil reaches normal operating temperature.

3. Prepare the machine for service. See “Maintenance Safety” on page 2-8.

4. Shut down the engine. See “Engine Shutdown Procedure” on page 4-16.

5. Turn the battery disconnect switch to OFF. See “Battery Disconnect Switch” on page 3-15.

6. Open the engine compartment cover. See “Engine Compartment Cover” on page 3-8.

Never use hands to check or feel for fluid leaks. Always wear safety glasses and protective

gloves and use a piece of wood or cardboard to check for leaks. Failure to follow this warning

could cause death or serious injury.

NOTICE!

It is critical that all material used to collect the sample is absolutely clean. Failure to follow

this notice could damage the machine, cause it to operate improperly, or contaminate the

sample.
