Operation and Maintenance Manual — 0120

SANY

6. Clean the top of the hydraulic oil tank and remove

contaminants from around the suction strainer cover (3).

7. Loosen the four fasteners (4) securing the suction

strainer cover. Push the cover down against spring
pressure while removing the fasteners.

8. Remove the suction strainer cover.

9. Remove the spring (5), rod (6), and suction strainer (7).

10. Inspect the suction strainer and replace if damaged.

11. Clean the suction strainer of any contaminants.

12. Install the suction strainer to the boss of the hydraulic

oil tank.

13. Install a new O-ring for the suction strainer cover.

14. Tighten the cover fasteners securely.

NOTE:

Use the extrusion on the bottom of the cap to
hold the spring in place.

15. To purge air from the system, start the engine and run it

at low idle for 10 minutes.

16. Check the hydraulic oil level and add hydraulic oil as

needed. See “Check the Hydraulic Oil Level” on page 5-61.

NOTICE!

Dispose of hydraulic oil and the suction strainer in accordance with all applicable

environmental regulations. Failure to follow this notice could damage the environment.
