8 COMMISSIONING
8.1 FIRST START-UP
IMPORTANT: fi rst start-up operations
must be performed by a specialised
and authorised technician.
- Open the water supply tap upstream of the
machine (supply from the mains).
- Power on the machine and move the circuit
breaker upstream of the machine to ON (1).
- Wait for the machine to reach the setpoint
temperature. The heating screen allows accessing
the various user menus but it will inhibit any
dispensing (coffee, water, steam).
- While the steam boiler is being fi lled, the steam
solenoid valve is also opened to prevent the boiler
from being pressurised by the water fi lling.
If the automatic fi lling does not take
place within a certain time (set by
the technician), the corresponding
message will be shown on the
display.
Check that the water supply tap is
open.
Press "RESET" to repeat the
fi lling
procedure.
- Dispense water from the group, without fi tting the
fi lter holder, press one of the displayed doses (1
- 2 - 3), checking that water comes out properly,
venting any air bubble present in the circuit. •
Press the same button again to stop dispensing.
